Well finally we are out of lockdown and gigs are coming back. See our gig listing for new gigs. I would also like to welcome Mal Gillies to the band. Eric has moved on to other projects and Mal has agreed to join the band on Harmonica and Vox. We are looking forward to ramping things up this year and hopefully a new CD with David Rowlands on washboard.
Hi guys. It has been one hell of a year and it is now 2021 and gigs are slowly coming back so check out our gig page for new gigs. We are hoping to be back out there this year and hope to see you all again. So come along and say hello. There will be new songs this year and new line ups so I am sure you will enjoy listening to our style of classic acoustic blues.
It has been a while since I have posted anything and it is now a New Year. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. 2018 was a great year for us being in involved in three festivals and many new gigs. Hopefully 2019 will be just as good. I have just updated the gigs coming up so please check them out and come and say hello if you come along. The most exciting event for us though was the The District Docklands Blues Festival.
We had a great opportunity to play at this brilliant festival. It was an awesome time.
It has been a while since I have posted and updated the gig list. So check where are playing over the next couple of months. We have accepted into the St Albans Folk festival at the end of April so if you are free get along. I understand it is a great weekend with some great music.
It was a busy Christmas and New Year and we took a break during January. We are ready and rearing to get back into playing again. The act is primarily a trio with David Rowlands playing regularly now on washboard. We have some originals coming and I have started recording for the next album. So hopefully this will be ready by the end of the year. I hope your year is going to be a good one and we hope to see you at one of our gigs.
BTW I also have an electric blues band ready to start work. Cutaway Blues. Keep an eye out for posts and hopefully a website to go along with it.

There has been heaps happening with the most exciting being I have finally released a CD accompanied by Eric K. Betts on blues harp. This has been a while coming. I have been humbled by the feedback and requests for interviews.
We have also been privileged to play at two Tav’s Blues Partys at the Castle Hill Tavern to great feedback and crowds. Thanks for the support guys. There were some great acts on the lineup.
I have updated the gig list for the rest of the year and we are basically booked out leaving some space for some family time. We would love to see you at a gig before the end of the year.
